The CA Final examination is divided into two groups and conducted in pen-and-paper format only, at the allotted CA Final exam centres.

Yes, it is wise to do your articleship while studying for the CA Final. In fact, the Chartered Accountancy course in India mandates that students undergo articleship as part of their training, which aligns with their CA Final preparation.
ICAI does not make coaching compulsory. But CA Final papers are long, subjective and case-study based, and classroom learning gives you live doubt solving, discipline, regular tests and direct guidance from faculty. Yes. AJA provides offline classroom coaching for all CA Final subjects. The Self-Paced Online Modules are completed online on ICAI’s Digital Learning Campus, and our faculty guide students on choosing and completing them.
CA Final has six core papers in two groups. Group 1: Financial Reporting, Advanced Financial Management, and Advanced Auditing, Assurance and Professional Ethics. Group 2: Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation, Indirect Tax Laws, and Integrated Business Solutions. Each paper carries 100 marks.
CA Final exams are conducted in pen-and-paper format only at allotted exam centres. Each paper is 3 hours long with subjective questions, carries 100 marks and has no negative marking.
You must have cleared both groups of CA Intermediate, completed Articleship under a practising Chartered Accountant (you can appear during the last six months of Articleship), and completed Advanced ICITSS.
They are ICAI’s online modules that must be completed before attempting CA Final: Set A (Corporate and Economic Laws) and Set B (Strategic Cost & Performance Management) are compulsory, plus any one module each from Set C and Set D.
