CA Inter eligibility, fees & exams
There are two routes into CA Intermediate. Exams are conducted three times a year.
Foundation Route
Students who have cleared the CA Foundation exam conducted by ICAI can register for CA Intermediate.
Direct Entry Route
Graduates can register directly for CA Intermediate without Foundation — with a minimum of 55% in Commerce or 60% in other streams.
Passing Criteria
A minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% across the papers of a group.
Exam Fee
₹2,700 for both groups, or ₹1,500 for one group, per attempt.
Attempt One or Both Groups
You can write one group at a time or both groups together. Our both-groups plan helps serious students attempt and clear both.

FAQs about CA Inter coaching
You can register for CA Intermediate after clearing CA Foundation. Graduates can also register directly through the Direct Entry route with a minimum of 55% in Commerce or 60% in other streams.
CA Intermediate has six papers in two groups. Group I: Advanced Accounting, Corporate and Other Laws, and Taxation. Group II: Cost and Management Accounting, Auditing and Ethics, and Financial Management and Strategic Management. Each paper carries 100 marks.
