CSEET Clearance: Candidates must clear the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) to be eligible for registration in the Executive Program.
Exemptions: Certain categories, like those who have passed the CS Foundation program or hold degrees in law or commerce, may qualify for exemptions.
Course Structure
The CS Executive Course is divided into two modules, each focusing on specialized aspects of corporate law, management, and governance.
Module 1:
Jurisprudence, Interpretation, and General Laws (JIGL):
Covers the Indian Constitution, laws relating to contracts, interpretation of statutes, and judicial systems.
Company Law: Focuses on the Companies Act, 2013, and rules for company formation, management, and governance.
Setting up of Business Entities and Closure: Explains the processes for establishing various types of business entities and their closure.
Tax Laws: Includes basics of direct and indirect taxes, such as income tax and GST.
Module 2:
Corporate and Management Accounting: Deals with financial reporting, corporate accounting practices, and analysis.
Securities Laws and Capital Markets: Discusses SEBI regulations, securities contracts, and functioning of capital markets.
Economic, Business, and Commercial Laws: Focuses on laws related to competition, FEMA, and consumer protection.
Financial and Strategic Management: Provides insights into financial planning, strategic management, and decision-making.
Examination Pattern
Mode of Examination:
Conducted offline as descriptive papers.
Certain subjects include open-book exams.
Passing Criteria
Students must score at least 40% in each paper and 50% aggregate in a module to pass.
Duration and Registration Validity
The course typically takes 9 months to complete after registration.
The validity of registration for the Executive Program is 5 years, with provisions for extensions.
